On a global basis, Santa Fe handles in excess of 25,000 international, domestic, and local household goods shipments annually. Performed at very high standards, the moving services are designed to offer maximum peace of mind.

Crews are lead by English-speaking supervisors and all operational teams are trained in accordance with ISO standards. Santa Fe rewards excellent performance, and crews are paid based on packing performance and customer comments.

The IT systems used by Santa Fe provide all details required by both staff and clients. Staff utilise a customised "Move Manager" system, whereas relocating clients utilise a User ID and Password to access shipping dates, country profiles and destination customs regulations via our web-site. Hand-held computers are used during pre-move surveys to take a detailed inventory of all items to be moved and record special requirements such as crating. Volume and weight estimates are available on the spot, and after the survey the hand-held computers provide inventory printouts to send to clients and operational crews as they prepare for the removal. In addition, digital cameras are used during pre-move surveys to capture images of items that are fragile, large, heavy or in other ways may pose difficulty during the move.

For international moves, Santa Fe will co-ordinate all aspects including the pre-move survey, quotation, confirmation, insurance, packing, freight, customs clearance, delivery, and storage if needed.

Outbound shipments are packed using a wide variety of specialised packing materials such as hanging wardrobe boxes, picture cartons, mattress cartons, newsprint and soft tissue, and wooden crates for very fragile items. Digital images are taken of items requiring assembly at destination and sent to our overseas partners for reference.

For inbound shipments, complete unpacking and removal of debris is provided. Santa Fe's maid and handyman services can be used to add the finishing touches to a new home. In addition, value-added services are offered to relocating clients. "Welcome Packages", ongoing support, invitation to social events, and quality control visits at time of delivery are provided.
