Santa Fe can manage all aspects of a client's immigration, employment visa, and dependent visa needs. Upon receiving word of an immigration requirement, Santa Fe will proceed to obtain all the relevant immigration approvals for the transferee and accompanying family to work, reside and study in the host location. All immigration services will be in accordance with local laws and regulations.
The scope of service depends on each client's needs and may include:
- Briefing and advising the transferee of the local governmental legislation regarding the application of the various work, residence, dependent and study visas.
- Assessing the suitability of the transferee in securing the relevant visa.
- Notifying the corporate client immediately if it is deemed that the transferee is unlikely to gain approval of the relevant visa.
- Co-ordination between the destination and origin locations to obtain specific documentation required by the relevant government agencies.
- Where applicable, managing the broker that is handling the application on behalf of the transferee.
- Keeping the corporate client and the transferee up to date.
- Notifying the corporate client immediately in the event that the visa application has been denied.
- Assisting the transferee and family in appeals that may be necessary.
- Keeping accurate records of all applications and approval dates and notify the corporate client and the transferee well in advance of renewal dates should the visas need extension.
- Liasing with the corporate client and the transferee for any documents required for the renewal.
- Informing the relevant immigration department of the cancellation of any visa.
All successful Visa & Immigration programmes are designed with the knowledge that timing and effective communication are critical elements in the acquisition and tracking of visas. For corporate clients, Santa Fe will hold initial meetings, collect standard offer letters, review a comprehensive list of current visas, and design detailed process flows before any programme is to commence.
